I am a 20-year-old T54 Internationally Classified Wheelchair Racer from Auckland. I was born with a severe form of Spina Bifida and have faced many physical challenges, including spending a lot of time in the hospital and having 32 major surgeries. Despite this, I have never given up on my pursuit of being an athlete. Starting from a young age, I tried nearly every sport and eventually became a competitive swimmer, wheelchair basketballer, and triathlete. In 2019, I discovered my passion for wheelchair racing, it is now my main sport, where I compete in all track events from 100m-5000m and 10km road events. I currently hold numerous Auckland and NZ age-group records and hold several national championships titles. I was also number 1 in the world for the U20 T54 5000m in 2023. Aside from being a competitive athlete, I am heavily involved in my community, serving on several national committees and advisory groups. I am a disability advocate, a public speaker, and an ambassador, and I am frequently asked to contribute my expertise and experience to projects focused on disability and young people. I am also pursuing a psychology degree at AUT University. Mission: To be the best wheelchair racer in the world and a leader in creating positive social change
